Manama: In the presence of Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, the Capital Trustees Board has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC) to spearhead the development and maintenance of Seef Park. This initiative forms part of a broader strategy to bolster municipal services through collaboration between the public and private sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement encompasses the development and upkeep of the park, which covers an area of 5,770 square metres. The primary goal is to enhance services, improve the urban landscape, and ensure the longevity and sustainability of the park's facilities.
The minister highlighted that the agreement is a significant step towards reinforcing partnerships with the private sector, aiming to elevate the efficiency of municipal services and modernize public facilities in accordance with contemporary standards.
This agreement is expected to play a pivotal role in upgrading Seef Park as a prominent facility within the Capital Governorate. It aligns with continuous efforts to enhance infrastructure and recreational services in the region.
The signing ceremony was attended by officials from the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, the Capital Trustees Board, and BKIC.
