Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, inaugurated the "Hiya Al Bahrain" (She is Bahrain) forum in celebration of Bahraini Women's Day 2025. The event was attended by Shaikha Jawaher bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Future8 and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Womenpreneur, along with over 300 female leaders and entrepreneurs.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the governor extended congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Women, commending her efforts in empowering Bahraini women and creating opportunities for them to contribute actively to national development. He highlighted women's growing role in various sectors and the forum's role in showcasing their achievements.
The event featured prominent national figures and broad media coverage, focusing on women's contributions in fields such as sustainability, entrepreneurship, aviation, space, AI, advanced technology, and banking.
