Manama: The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) announced the closure of three tourism establishments after identifying several violations of the laws and regulations governing tourism activities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Necessary administrative actions have been implemented in response to these violations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the authority emphasized that these measures are part of ongoing efforts to regulate the tourism sector, uphold the quality and standards of services provided by tourism establishments, and ensure compliance with approved regulations and requirements. The BTEA stated that inspection visits and periodic monitoring campaigns will persist to verify the compliance of establishments across different regions of the Kingdom with applicable laws and regulations. This initiative is being conducted in collaboration with relevant authorities under the framework of the legal procedures outlined in Legislative Decree (15) of 1986 on Tourism Regulation and its amendments.
The authority reiterated its commitment to supporting the tourism sector by enhancing oversight and conducting continuous inspections of tourism facilities and establishments. This contributes to the growth of the tourism sector, maintains its quality standards, and reinforces the Kingdom of Bahrain's position as a leading tourism destination.
