Bahrain: The Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) organised the qualifying endurance events marking the start of the 2025-2026 season, with wide participation from riders representing stables across the Kingdom. The events were held at the Bahrain International Endurance Village and included 100km international and local races, as well as 80km and 40km competitions.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, emphasised the importance of qualifying events as the gateway for stables and riders to the season’s forthcoming engagements. He said the federation remains committed to supporting the continued development of endurance sport and to helping Bahrain sustain its achievements regionally and internationally.
Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan, Assistant Secretary General of BREEF and Royal Endurance Team Director, said the qualifying events are a key stage in preparing riders for their upcoming commitments. He highlighted the role of endurance sport in strengthening Bahrain’s standing internationally.
