Manama: The Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) commended the Kingdom of Bahrain's position in expressing full support and solidarity with the State of Qatar following the attack on its territory by the Islamic Republic of Iran. The BJA emphasized that this stance reflects the strong ties among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and demonstrates Gulf unity in response to regional security and stability challenges.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the BJA affirmed its support for all efforts aimed at strengthening Gulf cohesion and protecting the sovereignty of its states. The association urged for wisdom, restraint, and adherence to international laws and United Nations charters in resolving disputes to ensure the security of the Gulf and the well-being of its people.
