BIC Introduces Cutting-Edge Sodikarts at Bahrain International Karting Circuit

Sakhir: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), renowned as 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', has unveiled its new fleet of advanced karts at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC), a premier facility dedicated to grassroots motorsport.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the new Sodikarts are available for hire daily through BIKC's Arrive-and-Drive and Mini GP options, offering an unparalleled driving experience for race enthusiasts. The fleet includes RT10 nine-horsepower and RT10 13hp Sodikarts, along with the LR6 seven-hp Sodikart. These vehicles provide motorsport fans of all ages and skills the chance to enjoy the thrill on BIKC's 1.414-kilometre CIK-FIA track.

The RT10 9hp Sodikart is equipped with a Honda GX270 four-stroke engine, while the RT10 13hp Sodikart features a Honda GX390 four-stroke engine. Both models incorporate Easy Drive Technology, a patented system that ensures smoother steering and improved driving comfort.

Safety is a top priority in all activities at BIC and BIKC. The RT10 Sodikarts are equipped with comprehensive safety features, including an integrated safety harness, a deformable four-wheel protection system, and plastic sliding protection to minimize impact risks.

The LR6 Sodikart features a Honda GX200 four-stroke engine and comes with a patented shock-absorption system to safeguard drivers' heads from impacts. It also includes high-density plastic protection, Easy Drive Technology, and an Anti-Gas/Brake System to prevent simultaneous acceleration and braking.

All new Sodikarts offer adjustable steering and pedals, as well as adjustable seats, enhancing driver comfort and maneuverability.

Pricing for a 15-minute Arrive-and-Drive session in the RT10 nine-hp Sodikart is BD14, with a discounted rate of BD24 for a 30-minute double session. The RT10 13hp Sodikart is priced at BD17 for a 15-minute session and BD31 for a double session. For kids, the LR6 seven-hp Sodikart costs BD14 for a 15-minute session and BD24 for a double session.

Groups of 10 or more can participate in a Mini GP, which includes three track sessions. The price is BD54 per person for the RT10 nine-hp Sodikarts and BD67 per person for the RT10 13hp Sodikarts.
