BDF General Command Reports Successful Interception of Iranian Attacks

Manama: The Bahrain Defence Force General Command has announced that its air defence systems have successfully intercepted successive waves of Iranian aggression. Since the onset of hostilities, BDF forces have intercepted and destroyed 95 ballistic missiles and 164 unmanned aerial vehicles aimed at the Kingdom of Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the BDF General Command commended the combat readiness and operational excellence demonstrated by its personnel throughout this period. The Command affirmed that Bahrain's airspace remains protected. The public is urged to remain indoors, only venturing out when absolutely necessary while taking all necessary precautions. People are advised to stay away from affected areas and suspicious objects, refrain from filming military operations or debris sites, and avoid spreading unverified information. It is recommended to rely solely on official sources for updates and advisories.

The General Command further stated that targeting civilian sites and private property using ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles constitutes a violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. These indiscriminate attacks are seen as a direct threat to regional peace and security.
