Kuwait Armed Forces Destroy Hostile Drone Over National Airspace

Kuwait city: The Ministry of Defence of the State of Kuwait announced that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces detected and destroyed a hostile drone shortly after it entered the country's airspace. During a media briefing on the latest field developments amid the ongoing Iranian aggression against Kuwait, Colonel Saud Al Atwan, Spokesperson of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence, said the drone was monitored over the past 24 hours and intercepted by the air defense systems of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Col. Al Atwan added that, as part of the defensive measures to protect the country's airspace, Kuwait's air defense units continue constant monitoring and tracking of any potential missile threats. He noted that the hostile drone was successfully engaged and destroyed by a force from the Kuwait National Guard within the framework of coordination and operational integration among the country's military institutions. No material damage or casualties were reported.

Col. Al Atwan affirmed that members of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces continue to perform their national duty with determination and high morale, upholding the spirit of responsibility and military honor in safeguarding the nation's security and stability.
