According to Bahrain News Agency, Ali Amr produced a strong performance, showing excellent focus and determination throughout the bout. His competitive display and persistence helped him secure a deserved victory and progress to the next round.
The Bahraini boxer will now continue with hopes of extending his winning run and advancing to the later stages, following the strong form he has shown since the start of the competition.
In the 3x3 basketball competition, Bahrain lost 21-2 to Chinese Taipei before suffering a second defeat, going down 14-10 to Indonesia.
