Aichi-nagoya: Bahrain swimmer Stepan Goncharov finished fourth in the men's 50m backstroke final at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, clocking 24.92 seconds, 0.88 seconds behind the winner.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Goncharov also recorded 23.06 seconds in the 50m freestyle. Abdullah Khalid posted 24.30 seconds in the same event and 1:05.77 in the 100m breaststroke. In the women's events, Sana Le Falher and Asma Le Falher recorded 2:10.88 and 2:12.21 respectively in the 200m freestyle. Amani Al Obaidli posted 30.10 seconds in the 50m backstroke, while Noor Taha finished in 31.57 seconds.
In skeet shooting, Maryam Hassani finished 21st with 41 points, Maryam Al Asam 26th with 35 points, and Tammar Al Watah 23rd with 46 points.
