Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,933.04 points, marking an increase of 3.55 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to a rise in the communications services sector and the materials sector. Bahrain Islamic Index has also shown positive momentum, closing at 927.37 points, marking an increase of 4.49 points above the previous closing.
According to Bahrain News Agency, results indicated that 69 equity transactions took place with a volume of 746,430 and a total worth of BD 232,833. Investors focused their trading activities mainly in the financials sector, which represented 81.23% of the total value of securities traded.
