Bahrain Stock Indices Experience Decline as Financial Sector Faces Downturn

Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,905.16 points, marking a decrease of 3.25 points below the previous closing. This decline was primarily attributed to a downturn in the financial, material, and real estate sectors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decline, closing at 911.29 points, which is 5.28 points lower than its previous closing. The market activity saw 83 equity transactions with a trading volume of 851,528 shares amounting to BD 299,928.

Investors showed significant interest in the financial sector, which accounted for 54.44% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
