Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, expressed the UAE's strong condemnation of the terrorist plot that was prevented in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the plot involved a terrorist cell linked to the so-called Lebanese Hezbollah organisation, which sought to coordinate with terrorist elements abroad to undermine the Kingdom's security and stability.
HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed affirmed the UAE's full solidarity with Bahrain and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its security and sovereignty. His Highness also noted the high level of efficiency and vigilance demonstrated by Bahraini security authorities in uncovering and preventing the plot.
HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed underscored that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the UAE, reaffirming his country's support for all steps taken by Bahrain to preserve its stability, ensure the safety of its citizens and residents, and protect its national gains.
