Manama: Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain is actively preparing to host Jewellery Arabia 2024. The event is scheduled to take place from November 26 to 30 at Exhibition World Bahrain, promising a diverse array of activities and attractions.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this year’s Jewellery Arabia will feature a 30% increase in exhibitors in the Gold Souq, aiming to highlight the Kingdom’s cultural heritage through a variety of gold pieces. The event will also see participation from several talented artists, including the Art Concept Studio, which will display artworks around the theme “Art Adorned: Jewels of the Middle East,” emphasizing the blend of tradition and modernity in contemporary Middle Eastern art.
Sarah Ahmed Buheji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and Chairman of Exhibition World Bahrain, emphasized the significance of exhibitions in bolstering Bahrain’s global business stature an
d attracting international events. Buheji noted that the 32nd edition of Jewellery Arabia brings together hundreds of international luxury brands and attracts global visitors. The exhibition offers a platform for designers, influencers, and artists to exchange insights and experiences.
Mohammed Ebrahim, General Manager of Informa Markets, stated the commitment to enhancing visitors’ experiences by expanding the annual agenda to include more sessions and workshops on various industry topics, organized by global experts.
The Diamond Dialogues Stage will feature authors Katerina Perez and Kevin Ferreira, who will present the ‘Paraiba Book.’ Notable panel discussions will also include speakers like Bebe Bakshi, Katerina Perez, Tracey Ellison, and Renu Choudhary, addressing emerging trends in the jewellery industry.
Nada Abughris from Sarah Ho Jewellery will discuss sustainability and the transformation of antique jewellery into modern designs. Nouran El Marmari, founder of Marmari Jewellery, will lead an inter
active session on personal style. Her Royal Highness Princess Nourah AlFaisal and Melanie Grant will explore luxury’s significance in the Middle East, while Florence Carr will discuss future trends in the luxury jewellery sector.
The Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) will host a discussion on “Egyptian Royal Family Jewellery,” presented by Dr. Abdulla Alsulaiti with special guest Amina El Demirdash. Ziad Khalid from DANAT will deliver sessions on purchasing gemstone jewellery and exploring diamonds.
Jewellery Arabia will introduce the International Designers Pavilion, showcasing unique pieces by global designers such as Taevika Jewellery, Saneem Jewellery, and others. The event will also feature a variety of food and beverage outlets in Halls 7 and 8.
Jewellery Arabia and Scent Arabia will be open from November 26 to 28 from 2 pm to 10 pm, November 29 from 4 pm to 10 pm, and November 30 from 2 pm to 10 pm.
