Geneva: The Kingdom of Bahrain’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations and other international organisations in Geneva hosted a reception at its headquarters in celebration of Bahrain’s National Day and the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the throne. The event was attended by Bahraini students and residents in Geneva, as well as members of the mission.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Abdulla Abdulatif Abdulla, Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office and other international organisations in Geneva, extended congratulations to His Majesty the King and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing the Kingdom and its people continued progress and prosperity.
He also highlighted Bahrain’s development achievements and its role in promoting multilateral cooperation, dialogue, tolerance, and human rights. Additionally, the ambassador noted Bahrain’s contributions through its presidency of the Gulf Cooperation Council and its membership in the UN Security Council.
