Bahrain Participates in Ministerial Meeting Ahead of Arab Economic and Social Development Summit

Manama: Yusuf Abdulla Alhumood, Undersecretary for Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, led the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation at the ministerial-level meeting of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League, held in preparation for the Fifth Arab Economic and Social Development Summit.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting concluded with several strategic recommendations on the agenda items, including the Secretary-General's report on joint Arab economic and social development efforts. The report outlines key priorities for Arab coordination on development issues, reinforces integration efforts, and highlights the Kingdom of Bahrain's active contributions to joint initiatives.

The council also reviewed the follow-up report on the implementation of the resolutions from the Fourth Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, held in Beirut, in preparation for the Fifth Summit. The upcoming summit will, for the first time, be held concurrently with the 34th Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Summit Level in the Republic of Iraq.
