Baku: Ahmed Sabah Al Salloom, Deputy Speaker of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) and Chairman of its Standing Committee on Economic and Sustainable Development, chaired a significant committee meeting during the 15th General Assembly of the APA in Azerbaijan. According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Salloom highlighted that the resolutions adopted during the meeting play a crucial role in enhancing the assembly's ability to develop parliamentary dialogue across Asia. This effort is part of the assembly's ongoing initiatives to strengthen collaboration among Asian nations.
Additionally, Bahrain's parliamentary delegation was present at the APA Standing Committee on Political Affairs meeting. The delegation supported the committee's draft resolutions, reiterating its commitment to backing APA initiatives. This support underscores Bahrain's dedication to addressing Asian parliamentary issues and fostering discussion among representatives of Asian parliaments.
