Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,036.34 points, marking an increase of 6.00 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the communication service sector and materials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 998.71 points, marking an increase of 2.02 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 160 equity transactions took place with a volume of 5,725,038 worth BD 1,388,913. Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 63.56% of the total value of securities traded.
