Bahrain Embassy Facilitates Return of Citizens Stranded in Iraq via Kuwait

Kuwait City: The Bahrain Embassy in Kuwait played a crucial role in assisting Bahraini citizens stranded abroad, specifically those arriving from the Republic of Iraq, by coordinating their return home through the land border with Kuwait. Salah Ali Al Malki, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State of Kuwait, along with embassy staff, ensured a smooth entry for these citizens into Kuwait and facilitated their subsequent journey back to Bahrain, whether by land or air.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Al Malki expressed his appreciation for the Kuwaiti authorities' efforts at the land borders amid recent regional developments. He also acknowledged the contribution of registered tour operators in the repatriation process of citizens to Bahrain.

Furthermore, Ambassador Al Malki thanked Gulf Air and its team at Kuwait International Airport for their efforts in assisting Bahraini citizens who faced challenges in traveling directly from Iraq. The airline's team played a significant role in overcoming obstacles and ensuring the safe return of the citizens to Bahrain.
