Bahrain Cycling Team Prepares for 3rd Asian Youth Games

Manama: The Bahrain national cycling team is gearing up for the 3rd Asian Youth Games, with the goal of achieving strong results that showcase the progression of the sport within the Kingdom. This event also marks a significant occasion as it coincides with the Kingdom of Bahrain hosting the games for the first time.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the team comprises cyclists Hasan Aqeel Thamer, Hussain Ali Hasan, Thamer Aqeel Thamer, Isa Saleh Ahmed, Aseel Kamal Ahmed, Jood Kumail Ahmed, Dana Mohammed Al Doseri, and Zainab Karam. These athletes have undergone an intensive training regime that includes daily sessions and participation in both local and regional competitions to enhance their technical and physical capabilities.

The 3rd Asian Youth Games present a valuable platform for these young Bahraini cyclists to gain experience and measure their skills against leading teams from across Asia. The event is seen as an opportunity to elevate the profile of cycling in Bahrain and provide the athletes with international exposure.
