Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, held discussions with Sean Sobers, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs for Trinidad and Tobago, and Saddam Hosein, Minister of Land and Legal Affairs and Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries of Trinidad and Tobago. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring cooperation in areas such as fisheries and climate change to support sustainable development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Bin Dainah emphasized Bahrain's dedication to strengthening collaborative efforts. He highlighted the significance of joint initiatives in addressing climate-related challenges and promoting sustainable practices.
Sobers acknowledged the robust relations between the two nations and praised Bahrain's initiatives in environmental protection and fisheries management. He expressed Trinidad and Tobago's interest in furthering cooperation in these sectors to achieve mutual goals.
