Manama: The Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) held an event to mark Bahraini Women's Day 2025, this year under the theme "Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation."
According to Bahrain News Agency, Basim bin Yaqoub Al Hamar, President of the SLRB, highlighted the role of Bahraini women, noting that their active participation in decision-making reflects the support they receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which empowers women across all fields of national work. He also highlighted the role of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, consort of His Majesty the King, in strengthening women's presence and enabling them across various sectors.
He emphasised that women at the Authority have made significant contributions across multiple disciplines, leading development initiatives that improved performance and advanced digital transformation. Supporting female talent remains a key priority in institutional development, enhancing competitiveness and driving national progress.
Diana Faisal Sarhan, Director General of Resources and Information Systems and Chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Committee, highlighted the impact of women's participation in the surveying and real estate sector, including strategic projects that elevate services and meet client expectations. She noted that 2025 saw the appointment of women to leadership roles and the delivery of specialised training programmes, strengthening their capabilities and enabling active participation in projects and initiatives within the Bureau.
The celebration underscored recognition of women's national contributions, reinforced their role in sustainable development, and supported their continued leadership and innovation in the Bureau's plans.
