Bahrain and Netherlands Sign MoU to Boost Sports Cooperation

Manama: The Bahrain Paralympic Committee has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nederlands Olympisch Committee to enhance collaboration in sports, specifically for athletes with determination.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement focuses on advancing training and development programs, sharing technical and administrative expertise, and coordinating efforts to support athlete participation in international events. The MoU also aims to promote community inclusion initiatives through sports.

During their visit, the delegation explored the Dutch Olympic Training Centre Papendal, known for its advanced sports facilities that support athletes with determination. The Netherlands has made significant progress in sports, achieving notable successes at the recent Games in Paris, where it ranked sixth at the Olympics and fourth at the Paralympics.
