Bahrain and Malaysia Ink MoU to Enhance Industrial Zones

Kuala Lumpur: During the official visit of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to Malaysia, Bahrain signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Malaysia to enhance cooperation in industrial zones. The signing took place in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, focusing on planning, development, and enhancement of these zones.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU was signed by Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Minister of Finance and National Economy, and Tengku Zafrul bin Tengku Abdul Aziz, Malaysia's Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa emphasized the strong ties between Bahrain and Malaysia and noted cooperation growth, particularly in finance and economy, which supports sustainable economic development for both nations.

Shaikh Salman also mentioned the shared commitment to further developing these relations, highlighting the potential for joint cooperation in industrial development to serve common goals and mutual interests. The MoU aims to enhance cooperation through the exchange of technical expertise, best practices, and knowledge in sustainability and innovation. It also supports initiatives to attract high-quality joint investments and contribute to the growth of promising sectors, aligning with both countries' development visions.
