Tashkent: Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain, Secretary General of the Council of Representatives, and Kareema Mohammed Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council, held a joint meeting with Farid Hajiyev, Head of the Civil Service and HR Department of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, on the sidelines of the Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP) meeting, held in Uzbekistan, alongside the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed strengthening bilateral cooperation, supporting the exchange of expertise and visits between the secretariats, coordinating efforts and positions in regional and international meetings, and discussing the preparation of a memorandum of understanding enhancing administrative and information-related work.
Al Buainain and Al Abbasi expressed their appreciation for the support of Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, and Professor Dr. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
They also commended the ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the shared commitment to advancing cooperation across all domains.
