Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,056.05 points, marking a decrease of 3.87 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to a drop in the communications services sector, the consumer discretionary sector, the financials sector, and the materials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 1,025.15 points, with no change to its previous closing. Results indicated that 158 equity transactions took place with a volume of 4,191,588 worth BD 2,787,012. Investors traded mainly in the materials sector, representing 71.70% of the total value of securities traded.
