Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,973.89 points, marking a decrease of 2.03 points below the previous closing. This decline was attributed to the performance of the communication services and financial sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index remained unchanged, closing at 825.56 points. The trading session witnessed 41 equity transactions with a volume of 304,345, totaling a value of BD 138,689.
Investors showed a strong interest in the financial sector, which accounted for 40.80% of the total value of securities traded. This indicates a continued focus on the financial sector by market participants.
