Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,953.10 points, marking an increase of 3.43 points above the previous closing.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this increase was attributed to the rise in the consumer discretionary sector and the financial sector. The Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an increase, closing at 878.77 points, which is 11.62 points higher than the previous closing.
The results indicated that 80 equity transactions took place with a trading volume of 1,983,111, amounting to BD 286,175. Investors focused primarily on the financial sector, which represented 69.30% of the total value of securities traded.
