Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,056.49 points, marking an increase of 5.70 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to a rise in the communications services sector and the financials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 1,029.77 points, marking an increase of 8.89 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 153 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,009,124 worth BD 415,374.
Investors traded mainly in the financials sector, representing 54.38% of the total value of securities traded.
