Manama: Major General Adel Aen, Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior, led the Ministry's delegation at the joint Arab meeting focused on "Assessing legal frameworks and strategies for protecting and promoting the rights and needs of victims of terrorism," organized at the General Secretariat of the Arab League.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Major General Ameen presented a working paper that detailed Bahrain's efforts and experiences in supporting victims of terrorism. He emphasized that the Kingdom, adhering to international human rights standards and the preservation of human dignity, places significant importance on addressing the rights and needs of those affected by terrorism.
The meeting covered several crucial topics, including a proposal to establish a voluntary Arab fund to aid victims of terrorism. Additionally, it featured real-life case studies and a series of recommendations aimed at boosting Arab cooperation in the field.
