Applied Science University signs memo with University for Peace

Manama: Secretary General and Deputy Chairperson of the Higher Education Council Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa stressed the importance of boosting cooperation between the higher education establishments and well-reputed international universities. She was speaking as she patronized the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the Applied Science University and the University for Peace (UPEACE), which is affiliated with UNESCO. The signing took place in the presence of ambassadors and Presidents of local universities.

The memo was signed by President of the Applied Science University Prof. Ammar Kaka and Dr. David Fernandez Puyana, the Permanent Commissioner of the University for Peace mission.

The memorandum aims to promote cooperation between both universities in the field of peace studies, diplomacy and international relations.
