Moscow: Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, Ambassador of Bahrain to Russia, received a delegation from the Bahrain Deaf Society to celebrate their success at the Territory of Gesture International Theatre Festival in Moscow, where they won top awards for their play "The Stolen Voice," performed with Al Reef Theatre artists. The ambassador commended this Bahraini cultural accomplishment on the global stage, emphasizing the Kingdom's ability to achieve international success.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Deaf Society won the award for Best Physical Performance for "The Stolen Voice" and Best Director for Aqeel Al Majid across all participating categories. The society also received several international nominations, including Best Theatre Group, Best Leading Actor for Taher Mohammed, and Best Supporting Actor for Sayed Isa Alwadaei.
The ambassador highlighted that this victory reflects Bahrain's talented youth and their capacity to represent the Kingdom on leading international platforms. He expressed his wishes for the team's continued success in their future work and participation.
