Ambassador hails integration of German language in Nasser Vocational Training Centre curriculum

Nasser Vocational Training Centre (NVTC) Director Dr. Abdullah Naser Al Noaimi has stressed that the centre is engaged in building and reinforcing cooperation with educational and research institutions in advanced countries in the fields of training and scientific research, especially in promising areas such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence.

Germany is one of the advanced countries in the industrial and modern technological fields, and its universities, higher education institutions and research centres are among the oldest and best in technical education, training and studies, Al Noaimi said as he received Germany’s Ambassador to Bahrain Kai Boeckmann.

Based on such facts, the centre is seeking to enroll its graduates in German universities and higher education institutions by ensuring the highest standards of learning for its students and by familiarizing German institutions with the high aptitudes of NVTC students, he added.

Ambassador Boeckmann welcomed the centre’s decision to offer courses in German as part of its academic curricula.

Such a step will facilitate the admission process for the centre’s graduates in German universities and higher education institutions, he said.

Al Noaimi and Boeckmann discussed ways to enhance cooperation and make the embassy the official contact to liaise with German universities and research centres.

The ambassador had earlier said that the relationship between Bahrain and Germany is excellent.

“As a partner to Bahrain, Germany has a lot to offer. My mission is to build and consolidate bridges of cooperation between both countries,” he said.
