Manama: Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has announced the addition of 60 job vacancies for Bahraini citizens to the National Employment Platform. This initiative was revealed by Yousef bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, as part of efforts to bolster employment for nationals.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the move aligns with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who has called for providing three job opportunities to every registered job seeker by the end of the year. This initiative is aimed at supporting national employment efforts while contributing to sustainable economic growth.
The minister emphasized the ongoing collaboration between the Ministry of Labour, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), and private sector institutions. This partnership is focused on expanding job listings and enhancing employment opportunities for citizens to meet the evolving needs of the labour market.
