Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received General (Ret.) Sir Nicholas Carter, the former Chief of the Defence Staff of the British Armed Forces. Major General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, was also in attendance.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister praised the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United Kingdom and their mutual dedication to enhancing security cooperation and sharing expertise. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah expressed his appreciation for General Sir Nicholas's efforts and contributions in supporting collaboration between the two nations.
The meeting further explored ways to enhance security cooperation to serve the interests of both countries, highlighting the ongoing commitment to a strong bilateral relationship.
