Youth Ministry and Export Bahrain Conclude Successful ‘Exporters Championship – for the Youth’ Initiative

Manama: The Exporters Championship - for the Youth, a key initiative of Youth City 2030, has successfully concluded. Organised through a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Export Bahrain, the program aimed to equip young entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to enter the global market and drive export innovation.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Rabab Khalaf, the Planning and Market Intelligence Manager at Export Bahrain, emphasized the championship's significance in bolstering Bahrain's export entrepreneurship ecosystem and supporting the country's economic diversification. She stated, "The Exporters Championship - For the Youth represents a strategic step towards building a comprehensive ecosystem that empowers and supports young entrepreneurs in the export sector. Through this fruitful collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, we are contributing to the development of a strong foundation for export-driven entrepreneurship aligned with Bahrain's efforts for economic diversification and enhanced global trade positioning."

The program engaged over 107 youth participants in specialized workshops that covered critical areas such as product development, international marketing, market selection, export readiness, and logistics. These workshops were designed to prepare young entrepreneurs for the demands of the global marketplace.

Four startups progressed to the finals, where they presented their business models to a panel of experts. Ultimately, "The Socks Store" was declared the champion, earning tailored incentives to facilitate regional and international growth.

This initiative underscores ongoing efforts to empower the youth and position Bahrain as a regional hub for international trade.
