Manama, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth, held a virtual meeting with Elena Shmeleva, Chairman of the Sirius Federal Territory in the Russian Federation.
The minister praised the strong bilateral relations, emphasising their role in expanding cooperation across various sectors, including youth. She noted that the meeting aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to collaborating with the Sirius Federal Territory to explore successful international practices in developing youth skills in domains such as science, technology, and information technology.
Both sides discussed avenues for youth cooperation in science and technology, as well as research related to the youth sector and talent discovery.
On her part, the chairman highlighted the importance of formalising cooperation between the two sides in youth affairs and establishing a foundation for sharing successful experiences to enhance the skills and capabilities of young people in both countries in technology domains.
