Manama: Marwan Fouad Kamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, chaired a coordination meeting organised by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to discuss arrangements for launching the GCC Youth Hackathon 2026.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was held as part of the Kingdom of Bahrain's presidency of the 46th session of the GCC. It was attended by Khalid bin Ali Al Sunaidi, Assistant Secretary General for Economic and Development Affairs, along with representatives of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the GCC General Secretariat.
The meeting reviewed proposals related to the design of the hackathon, its themes, and implementation mechanisms. The focus was on ensuring the event achieves its objectives and provides a platform that supports youth engagement, encourages innovation, and enables the development of practical solutions.
