Youth Affairs Minister Engages Young Architects in Hadeeth Initiative

Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met with a group of young architects as part of the ministry's ongoing "Hadeeth" (Conversation) sessions, which aim to listen to youth proposals, empower them to contribute effectively to shaping their future, and strengthen the environment that supports their skills and creativity.

According to Bahrain News Agency, during the meeting held at Al Khalifia Library, the Minister emphasized that listening to young people's views and meeting their aspirations is a priority for the ministry as part of efforts to strengthen their active role in national development. She noted that providing an environment that encourages the discovery and cultivation of youth talent and invests their potential is a cornerstone of the ministry's work, pursued through its various initiatives.

The Minister explained that the Hadeeth initiative serves as an interactive platform that fosters direct communication with Bahraini youth, engages them in shaping the future, and provides opportunities to present their ideas and transform them into tangible projects that reflect their ambitions and support their aspirations across different domains.

Furthermore, the Minister underlined the importance of enabling young architects to develop their skills during their university studies, preparing them for the labor market, and supporting initiatives that expand their role in sustainable urban development.

The session featured discussions on professional skill development during university, the transition to the labor market, employment opportunities, and the future role of Bahraini architects in contributing to the Kingdom's ongoing development.

The young architects expressed their appreciation to the Minister for providing this platform for dialogue, stressing their commitment to benefiting from such initiatives, which enhance their professional presence and motivate them to contribute and innovate in service of Bahrain.

The Hadeeth initiative is one of the Ministry of Youth Affairs' flagship programs, designed to expand youth participation in shaping policies and programs and to foster a culture of dialogue and joint action. Its first edition included eight youth sessions where 68 ideas and initiatives were presented, some of which have already been implemented while others were incorporated into strategic plans to support promising youth projects.
