Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, chaired the meeting of the Youth Empowerment Committee in the Public and Private Sectors at Youth City 2030: The minister stated that youth empowerment is a priority in the Kingdom of Bahrain and requires coordinated efforts between public and private sector institutions to expand opportunities for young people to develop their capabilities, participate in various fields, and contribute to national development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister highlighted the importance of creating an environment that enables young people to develop their potential, turn ideas into impactful projects, and play a more active role in society. She also emphasized the importance of youth participation in decision-making to ensure initiatives and solutions reflect their needs and aspirations.
The meeting discussed youth empowerment initiatives and means to strengthen coordination among relevant entities to support youth participation across various domains.
