Youth Affairs Minister Celebrates Bahrain’s Victory at Awladna International Forum

Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Youth Affairs Minister, received the Micro Art Training Centre team, who won first place in the fine arts category at the Awladna International Forum for Arts of the Gifted, held in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister stated that this achievement reflects the creativity and determination of Bahraini youth, and highlights the country's commitment to empowering young people of all abilities. She emphasized that such accomplishments demonstrate Bahrain's growing presence on the international cultural stage and the success of national efforts to support inclusion through the arts.

Tawfiqi commended the team for its inspiring performance, noting that nurturing artistic and creative talent, particularly among young people with disabilities, is a key priority for the ministry's youth development programmes.

Dr. Zainab Swar, Director of Micro Art Training Centre, expressed appreciation for the ministry's continued encouragement, saying that its support has helped drive the potential of young artists and enabled them to achieve outstanding results that bring pride to Bahrain. She added that the Forum serves as an important global platform for showcasing creativity, exchanging ideas, and celebrating the talents of people with disabilities. Dr. Swar remarked that the Bahraini team's success is a source of national pride and a reminder of the perseverance and passion that define the kingdom's youth.
