Youth Affairs Minister: Bahraini Women’s Day Highlights Women’s Role in Advancing National Development.

Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, emphasized that Bahraini women's achievements in various domains are the result of the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to empower women and integrate them as key contributors to national development. According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister also highlighted the government's continuous efforts, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support Bahraini women across all sectors, ensuring they are partners in nation-building. The minister commended the efforts of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), in advancing women's progress. She praised the SCW's role, under HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim's leadership, in incorporating women's needs into development programs, strengthening their participation across all sectors, and en suring their integral role in Bahrain's comprehensive development. She noted that Bahraini Women's Day holds special significance in the Kingdom, as it highlights Bahrain's pioneering experience in supporting women, which has garnered global attention. The minister emphasized that Bahraini women's contributions have built upon past achievements, sustained progress, and cemented their role as key drivers of innovation and development. Tawfiqi underscored the contributions of the female employees of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, recognizing their dedication and significant efforts in advancing the youth sector. She highlighted the ministry's commitment to launching innovative initiatives to further promote the progress of Bahraini women.
