Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received Alastair Long, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The minister highlighted the longstanding and strong relations between the two countries across various sectors. She noted the importance of enhancing youth-related cooperation in line with young people's aspirations and promoting the exchange of experiences and programmes.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting also reviewed several initiatives and projects implemented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and explored opportunities for further cooperation in the youth sector. On his part, Ambassador Long expressed his appreciation for Bahrain's efforts to empower young people and strengthen their role in national development. He underscored the United Kingdom's keenness to support and enhance youth-related cooperation between the two countries.
