Manama: Citizens and residents performed Eid Al Adha prayers today, Friday, at designated Eid prayer halls and mosques in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). Mosques' minarets raised Takbeers amid feelings of joy.
According to Bahrain News Agency, in their sermons, the preachers reflected on the profound meanings of the occasion, emphasising the values of brotherhood, compassion, and love it embodies. They called for reinforcing commitment to the noble principles of Islam, which promote peace, love, and the strengthening of social bonds.
The preachers prayed to Allah Almighty to protect His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and to continue to bless the kingdom and its people with security and safety.
