Manama: Ahmed Sami Al Tajer, Assistant Undersecretary for Roads at the Ministry of Works, received a delegation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) to discuss enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise in project management, contributing to the development of national competencies and improving the quality of vital project implementation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed future opportunities for collaboration, including specialised training programmes, joint initiatives to develop the project management environment, and the exchange of expertise and participation in regional and international events organised by the Institute.
Al Tajer highlighted how the ongoing partnership with PMI supports the Ministry's efforts to implement international best practices and enhance the technical and managerial skills of national staff. He noted that cooperation with the Institute underscores the importance of developing the skills of project teams, enhancing the efficiency of government projects, and supporting the Kingdom's sustainable development journey.
The delegation emphasised their commitment to deepening the partnership and supporting initiatives that develop professional skills, thereby strengthening the project management ecosystem and advancing Bahrain's development objectives.
