Manama: In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, participated in National Tree Week by planting a tree at the Ministry of Works headquarters in Manama.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative supports the national afforestation plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035 as part of Bahrain's vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
