Manama: Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, emphasized the role of Bahraini women in various sectors, underscoring their importance in the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister commended the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of HM the King and President of the SCW, for advancing women's progress across all sectors. Marking Bahraini Women's Day, Al Hawaj highlighted women's significant contributions to national development, particularly in infrastructure sectors such as roads, sanitation, and construction. He commended the achievements of Bahraini women, who have excelled locally, regionally, and internationally, benefiting from continuous support that has empowered them to attain leadership and pr ofessional excellence. He further acknowledged the exceptional contributions of women within the Ministry of Works in advancing strategic infrastructure projects and enhancing public services. Al Hawaj extended his congratulations to all Bahraini women on this occasion and expressed his gratitude for their dedication to building and advancing the country.
