Manama: The winners of the second edition of the Bahrain Real Estate Innovation Competition were announced at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, as part of the conference accompanying Cityscape Bahrain 2024. The competition, part of the National Real Estate Sector Plan 2021-2024, underscores the importance of innovation in advancing the real estate industry. According to Bahrain News Agency, the competition attracted a diverse range of creative and innovative projects from promising Bahraini talents, with platinum sponsorship from Infracorp and gold sponsorship from Diyar Al Muharraq. Maryam Waleed Al Noaimi won first place for her project on investment platforms for urban heritage areas, receiving a $20,000 prize. Hussain Yousif Al Bouri took second place for his project, "Aqari-Invest", earning $12,000, while Bader Abdullah secured third place for his project, "Amlaki' (My Property), winning $8,000. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), expressed appr eciation for all participants and sponsors who supported national talents. He acknowledged the winning projects for their ambitious and practical ideas, focusing on sustainable urban development and leveraging property technology to shape a promising future for the real estate sector. He noted that the second edition built on the success of the first, showcasing Bahraini creativity and reaffirming RERA's commitment to fostering innovative solutions and providing a supportive environment for local talent in the real estate sector.
