Manama: The Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has announced that the current weather conditions in the Kingdom of Bahrain are within the typical patterns for the Sarayat season, which is a transitional period that usually lasts until May.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Directorate highlighted that this season is known for its rapid weather changes, which can occasionally lead to scattered thundery showers, a usual occurrence during this time. The Directorate addressed recent claims by some unofficial sources that predicted Thursday as a historic day for rainfall, reassuring that the expected conditions fall within the normal range for the Sarayat season, although there might be periods of increased activity.
The Directorate further stated that Sarayat conditions are anticipated to continue influencing Bahrain until early Friday, March 27, with potential thundery showers and strong winds expected intermittently. The public is advised to rely on official channels for updates, alerts, and developments, avoiding the spread of inaccurate or unverified information.
