Southern Governor Celebrates Bahrain Youth Day, Emphasizes Youth’s Development Role


Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, convened with staff members in the presence of Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayat, Deputy Governor, to commemorate Bahrain Youth Day, which is celebrated annually on March 25.



According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali emphasized the critical role that Bahraini youth play in the nation’s development. He acknowledged the substantial support provided under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aimed at empowering the youth and strengthening their role across various sectors.



HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali also highlighted the contributions of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, in promoting youth support and fostering innovation. He praised His Highness’s initiative to establish a dedicated day for Bahraini youth, viewing it as a significant step towards empowering them and encouraging their active participation in national development.



Furthermore, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali recognized the impact of young professionals within the Southern Governorate on the broader development efforts, expressing his wishes for their continued progress and success. Staff members conveyed their gratitude for the governor’s ongoing support in enhancing their skills and promoting innovation across different fields.
